Mission
One More Colorado is a Faith-Based organization that exists to come alongside individuals in recovery with Christ-Centered support and guidance to bring complete healing through a deeper relationship with Jesus and Community.

To provide a safe environment for the One who is seeking spiritual growth, recovery, sobriety and healing in their journey to health and wholeness from NEXT STEPS to THRIVING. Our hope is that we will enrich the community by our mission and vision to not only help change individual lives but that our organization will impact families and communities in Northern Colorado for generations to come.

Our staff and leadership team come from various backgrounds, and we all have walked through healing ourselves, so we continue to be accountable to the spiritual growth journey. We are committed to applying the same principles and values to our lives that we expect from those we serve.
We believe that Jesus meets people right where they are, but He doesn’t leave them there.
We value the process of healing which means addressing the whole person; basic needs, financial stability, spiritual growth, emotional well-being, healthy mindsets, physical health, creative outlets & knowing your purpose.
Our core value is the power of God to change people in the expression of God in three persons (Father, Jesus & Holy Spirit). We believe the inherent Word of God through the Bible, encountering God’s presence through worship with others and healthy relationships bring healing to hearts and all of this builds community.
Isaiah 61 “The Lord has anointed me, to bring good news to the poor; he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of prison to those who are bound; to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all who mourn in Zion-to give them a beauty for ashes, oil of gladness instead of mourning, the garment of praise instead of a faint spirit; that they may be called oaks of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, the he may be glorified. They will build up the ancient ruins; they will raise up former devastations; they will repair the ruined cities, the devastations of many generations…”
God brought more amazing people to help with the mission and vision of this organization including the current Board Members and Volunteers. This community of people, in the Body of Christ, has a passion to help people in recovery and has worked hard to build this dream into a reality. We are honored and blessed to serve the individuals who have come through our Mentorship Program or Life Group so far; and we pray God would make a difference in many lives through this organization to help heal individuals, to become successful in their journey and fulfill their purpose in this world. One person at time!
Building Connections & Changing Lives
OUR STORY
One More Colorado is a faith-based organization that started with a call from God, to reach the fringes of society, “the least of these “, the lost, the broken, the abused, the addict, the prisoner, the trafficked.
Matthew 25:40 “He will reply, truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.”
“… If a shepherd has a hundred sheep and ONE of them has gone astray, does he not leave the ninety-nine on the mountains and go in search of the ONE that went astray?” Matthew 18:12
In the beginning of this journey, the co-founders Jennifer and Laurie were “Two Mama’s on a Mission” as they began ministering to the ONE addict, homeless or formerly incarcerated individual, they realized that God was using them to bring hope and healing to lives through meeting practical needs as well as healing prayer to their soul. The healing prayer brought connection to the hurting so they could feel God’s love for them and restoration to their broken hearts. Jennifer and Laurie saw lives significantly changed!
