We Provide
Mentorship

Mentorship is the heartbeat of this organization. We are committed to walking alongside our participants and provide guidance and support in recovery to see them in their Next Steps to Thriving. We meet one-on-one with our participants and encourage an individualized program for success by allowing the participant to set specific goals for recovery. The goals may include getting a license, setting healthy boundaries, obtaining a GED or certification, healing prayer, spiritual growth or getting an apartment. When these goals are met, we provide a gift card as an incentive and create new goals.
We partner with sober living houses in Northern Colorado to teach a
curriculum that focuses on different areas of recovery, such as healing soul wounds, creating new neuropathways in the brain, nutrition in recovery and using your imagination to strengthen your faith. These teachings help you recognize core lies that you may have been believing about yourself or others, how to think in new ways to heal your brain from addiction or trauma, how nutrition helps your body to heal and how imagination is a way to connect with God in a practical and deep spiritual way.
Next Step Groups at Sober Living
We help you to have a better understanding of the heart of God toward you and this brings healing and freedom to your heart and mind so that you view yourself, others and God differently, which moves you forward in life. We meet weekly for 6-8 weeks to complete the curriculum. Although each visit can look a bit different, we bring a meal to share, have a time of fellowship, do check-ins, complete the lesson for that week and share some journaling prompts in an interactive discussion. Afterwards, if any further ministry is needed, there will be a time for personal prayer. Click Here to find out more about Next Step Groups or to contact us about starting one at your location.
