Anna's Journey

I struggled with addiction for over a decade and am just short of 3 years clean, something I never would have thought possible. I have been able to overcome massive barriers in my life through the inner healing and deliverance offered by One More Colorado’s Mentorship Program. In the past year by committing to the discipleship process, I have been able to move out of sober living, obtain my GED and further my education. The community I have found in our Life Group has really allowed me to break out of my shell and be able to share my testimony of what the Lord has done in my life. No judgement, just support. Learning to accept who I was and proclaim the transformation as a victory has removed any ability for the enemy to use my past against me. I want to express how transformative it has been to have both spiritual leaders and battle buddies in my corner when navigating new seasons and facing the difficulties that come in this walk. By staying rooted in community, growing in spiritual discipline and offering support to those who have had similar struggles as me, I feel like I am able to walk in the purpose and calling that God has for me.
